Ice Ribbon IW19 Tournament Day 2 Results 5/2/20

Ice Ribbon results from Saitama, Japan 🇯🇵 at the dojo on 5/2/20 and simulcast live on YouTube and Nico Video:

Ishikawa vs. Thekla in a 3-minute time limit exhibition match

Thekla tapped her out quick to an arm bar but the match continues to use the full time. Ishikawa gave Thekla a powerslam just as time expired. Thekla is the winner.

Thekla went over to the announcers desk to be interviewed by Tequila Saya and Yappy. A birthday cake was brought out for her. Her birthday was on 4/30/20. No rest for the weary as she replaced Yappy in the English commentary spot so Yappy could get ready for her match up next.

Yappy and Satsuki Totoro vs. Suzu Suzuki and Tsukushi

Suzuki pinned Yappy with the Gran Maestro de Tequila. Tsukushi had her fake cardboard cut out of the IW19 Title with her that she unveiled last week in addition to her real International Ribbon Tag Team Title belt.

Risa Sera vs. Hiiragi Kurumi in a A Block Match

Sera won by count out. She rolled to the outside after Kurumi gave her a sidewalk slam. She clocked Kurumi in the head with a chair as they fought on the floor. Kurumi returned the favor by throwing several, and I mean several, chairs at her. I lost count after six. Kurumi tried to give her the cradle tombstone on the pile of chairs. Sera reversed it and gave her a suplex into the pile instead for the count out victory.

Matsuya Uno vs. Maya Yukihi in a B Block Match

Yappy rejoined the English commentary side.

Yukihi got the pin after the swanton bomb.

Hamuko Hoshi vs. Tsukasa Fujimoto in an A Block Match

They went to the 19-minute time limit draw. Fans get to vote and decide the winner on Nico only because Yappy said YouTube doesn’t have the option. Hoshi won the vote and advances to the block semifinals.

This show will remain free on YouTube for a limited time then it moves to Nico for the $5 a month subscription.

The next show is 5/4/20 and once again live on YouTube and Nico.
