NWA Powerrr Results 3/30/21: Women Shine In Tag Action, Murdoch vs. Adonis in No DQ/No Count Out

NWA Worlds Champion Nick Aldis comes out to open the show with an interview. He brags that all he knows how to do is always win. Trevor Murdoch came out to interrupt and confront him. Aldis didn’t get a chance to confirm or deny if Chris Adonis is a new member of Strictly Business. Murdoch said Aldis put him in the hospital for a week after their pay-per-view match (Murdoch pinned Adonis to retain the NWA National Title). He said he wants to face Adonis in a No Disqualification and No Count Out Match. Adonis attacked Murdoch from behind and had to be helped to the back.

For the record, Velvet Sky is a permanent member of the weekly broadcast table with Joe Galli and Tim Storm.

May Valentine interviewed NWA World Tag Team Champions Aron Stevens and Kratos backstage. Sal Rinauro walked up and asked for a Tag Team Titles shot but didn’t say who his partner will be.

Slice Boogie pinned Jeremiah Plunkett after the Dead Ass Driver.

Austin Idol and Tyrus came out. Velvet Sky ran away so Idol could take her spot at the desk. Yes, the highly misguided Tyus instant push continues in The NWA. Idol said Tyrus will become the new NWA Worlds Champion. Idol is guest commentator while Tryus is in action.

Tyrus pinned Matthew Mims after a chokeslam.

They showed NWA World TV Champion The Pope and Fred Rosser at the interview desk with Kyle Davis. They are informed that their TV Title Match is bumped to next week to allow time for Murdoch vs. Adonis today.

Melina joined the broadcast table as guest commentator for women’s division action up next.

Thunder Rosa and Alex Gracia beat JennaCide and Skye Blue by Disqualification when Kamille got in the ring and speared Rosa. Kamille taunted Melina from the ring as Melina was checking on Rosa, then JennaCide and Kamille got into each other’s face the ring.

Nick Aldis joins the commentary desk for the main event. Trevor Murdoch comes out with a neck brace on.

Chris Adonis won the NWA National Title from Trevor Murdoch in the No Disqualification/No Count Out Match with a full nelson slam followed by the Master Lock submission. Aldis and Kamille congratulated Adonis afterwards.
