Braun Strowman and Ricochet defeated Hit Row (with B-Fab) in the dark match before WWE Smackdown went live on the air on Fox.

Cody Rhodes defeated WWE United States Champion Austin Theory by Disqualification in the dark match after WWE Smackdown ended on Fox. Rhodes was about to pin Theory after a Cross Rhodes but then Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso ran in and attacked him. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens ran out and made the save. Rhodes got on the mic to thank them and he encouraged them to hug each other again. They did.
